Inaugural Snakebite Hub Meeting
TGHN’s inaugural snakebite hub meeting took place on 4 December 2024 at 13:00-14:00 GMT. This inaugural session offered an inside look at the snakebite hub’s story so far and next steps. During this meeting, we heard from:
- Aashna Uppal, on the Global Snakebite Research hub’s journey and vision
- Professor David Warrell, on the importance of research in curbing snakebite morbidity and mortality
- Dr. Nicholas Amani Hamman and Nuhu Mohammed, on research activities at the Snakebite Treatment and Research Hospital, Kaltungo
- Dr. Frank Tianyi, on the ANYSNAKES Trial
